Dr. Sharad Kumar Agrawal is a distinguished veterinary professional and former Additional Director of the Animal Husbandry Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh, with over 35 years of extensive administrative and clinical experience. A graduate in Veterinary Science from the College of Veterinary Sciences, G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar, he has devoted his career to the advancement of animal healthcare and public veterinary services.

During his illustrious tenure in the Uttar Pradesh Animal Husbandry Department from 1990 to 2023, Dr. Agrawal served in various key administrative and professional capacities, ultimately retiring as Additional Director. He played a significant role in policy formulation, strategic planning, and the effective management of veterinary and livestock development services across the state.

In addition to his government service, Dr. Agrawal has been actively engaged in private clinical practice in Lucknow since 1986. Through his canine clinic, he has been providing dedicated healthcare services for companion animals, especially dogs, earning the trust and respect of pet owners for nearly four decades.

Dr. Agrawal also served as Secretary of the Lucknow Canine Practitioners Club from 2001 to 2017, contributing significantly to the professional welfare and coordination of veterinary practitioners.

His expertise in veterinary medicine, leadership, administration, and public relations reflects his lifelong commitment to excellence in animal healthcare and professional service.
